Hochiki focusing on wireless fire detection systems at Intersec 2026

11 January 2026

HOCHIKI MIDDLE East will showcase its latest life safety innovations at Intersec Dubai 2026, which runs from 12-14 January, with a keen focus on assisting consultants, contractors and facilities teams alike to deliver robust and compliant fire strategies for complex estates across the region.

On Stand B22 in Hall 4 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, visitors can witness Ekho, the company’s hybrid wireless fire detection system, which has been shortlisted for the Tomorrow’s Facilities Management Fire Category Award.

Winners will be announced post-March, but the nomination already reflects Ekho’s growing impact for facilities and estates teams managing complex portfolios in hospitals, universities, hotels, heritage sites and mixed-use developments.

By cutting cabling, reducing intrusive works and allowing greater flexibility when it comes to device placement, Ekho helps teams to modernise systems faster, keep spaces operational and respond to tightening fire safety standards.

Ekho combines hardwired loops with a wireless mesh to minimise cabling, speed up installation and make upgrades possible in heritage sites, retrofit projects and busy commercial environments.

Alongside Ekho, Hochiki will also demonstrate:

*Latitude fire control panels for larger networked and multi-use sites

*Marine and specialist ranges designed for harsh and high-risk environments

*EN and UL-approved detection engineered for the Middle East’s regulatory and environmental demands

With over 100 years of fire safety expertise and manufacturing in Japan, the UK and the US, Hochiki continues to support projects across the region with reliable technology, regional technical support and training.
