MEDICAL AND safety technology products manufacturer Dräger – the business actively protecting, supporting and saving lives around the world in hospitals, Fire and Rescue Services, the Emergency Services and industry – will be exhibiting on Stand 3a/J12 at The Fire Safety Event 2023.

Founded in Lübeck, Germany back in 1889, Dräger has grown into a worldwide, listed enterprise now in its fifth generation as a family-run business. Dräger has more than 15,000 employees worldwide and is present in over 190 countries around the globe. In 2021, the company generated net sales of around 3.3 billion Euros.

Professionals operating in the construction, engineering and chemical industries all trust in Dräger’s personal protection solutions. Indeed, Dräger’s wide range of products and solutions protects personnel, plant and operations. The portfolio includes gas detection devices, air sampling solutions, personal protection and breathing equipment and emergency escape devices.

All of the company’s products are supported and underpinned by extensive service, maintenance, training and rental options, in turn providing end user customers with truly holistic safety solutions.

The Dräger PARAT 5550 fire escape hood, for example, was developed in co-operation with users and always with the focus on offering the fastest possible escape. Optimised operation and wearing comfort, a robust housing and a tested carbon monoxide P2 filter ensure protection from toxic fire-related gases, vapours and particles for at least 15 minutes while escaping a building.

The Dräger RPS 3500 Rescue Pack System, meanwhile, is designed for use by rapid intervention teams, allowing firefighters to supply air to trapped colleagues or members of the public in hazardous atmospheres.

Further, the combined fire and industrial escape hood that is the Dräger PARAT 7500 was developed with end users, placing the focus on the fastest possible escape. A tested ABEK carbon monoxide P3 filter ensures protection from toxic industrial and fire-related gases, vapours and particles for at least 15 minutes.
