Advanced launches latest generation fire panel to UK market
04 October 2021
GO IS the new generation, single-loop fire alarm control panel from Advanced. Versatile and “packed” with premium features, Go provides cost-effective access to MxPro 5 range performance, quality and ease of use in a simpler, non-networkable format for complete fire protection peace of mind.
Available to order from this month, Go is the ideal solution for a wide range of single-panel sites – from restaurants, bars and guest houses through to small offices, shops, salons and surgeries.
On straightforward jobs, Go’s fuss-free installation and configuration save time and money. The new fire panel also makes light work of more complex sites requiring sophisticated cause and effect programming options as well as false alarm management and reduction solutions.
Go has been developed with the needs of installers, engineers and end users firmly in mind. An easy-fit chassis enables fast installation, while familiar controls and menus mean that there’s no lengthy learning curve.
Intuitive new configuration software makes programming quicker and easier than ever. A powerful design checker proves the system will work even before visiting site. In addition, enhanced diagnostics lead to fewer faults, faster fixes and better long-term performance.
Cost-effectiveness for customers
With small site budgets in mind, cost-efficiencies for customers have also been central to Go’s development. The panel has 15 zonal LEDs as standard for clearer visual indication and BS 5839 compliance without the need to buy a separate LED zone card. Compatibility with three leading detector protocols provides wired and wireless options, as well as greater freedom over design and maintenance provider costs.
Further cost savings as well as greater flexibility for site-specific installations are available thanks to a choice of two performance options with different maximum numbers of configurable addresses.
Neil Parkin, sales manager for the North of the UK and Ireland at Advanced, said: “In developing Go, we wanted to ensure our customers would benefit from the performance, reliability and flexibility they’ve come to expect from our premium MxPro 5 range, but in a cost-effective, single-loop format for simpler sites where networking isn’t needed.”
Parkin continued: “Go is brimming with ease-of-use features alongside the latest microprocessor technology to ensure the panel operates at lightning speed so that engineers can confidently fit and check the system before leaving to attend their next job, knowing full well that people and property are going to be safe and protected from fire.”
Certified by FM Approvals
Gary Craig, sales director at Advanced, observed: “Go is an exciting new addition to our fire panel portfolio, affording those working on smaller, single-panel sites a cost-effective, adaptable and dependable solution with Advanced performance, quality and ease of use built into the mix. Thanks to the expertise of our development teams, Go has been fine-tuned and future-proofed to meet a host of fire protection demands for smaller sites.”
Engineered with efficiency in mind, Go’s state-of-the-art microprocessor technology makes it faster to install, operate and configure. Certified by FM Approvals to EN54 Parts 2 and 4, Go is available in two configurable address variants for site-specific flexibility.
As stated, the new panel is compatible with three protocol partners, offers a wide range of cause-and-effect programming and also enhanced diagnostics.
Go is cloud-enabled and ready for future remote system monitoring and management via smart phone, tablet or PC. The panel is supplied with AlarmCalm false alarm management and reduction software as standard.
