Advanced celebrates success at Fire and Security Matters Awards
18 June 2025
FIRE AND life safety solutions manufacturer Advanced is celebrating the award for Fire Safety Project of the Year, which was bestowed at the 2025 Fire and Security Matters Awards organised by Western Business Media, the publisher of Fire Safety Matters.

At the ceremony, which was held on 5 June at Coventry’s CBS Arena, Advanced was also commended in the dedicated Fire Safety Manufacturer of the Year category.
These accolades follow on from Advanced’s double win at last year’s Fire and Security Matters Awards and mark a significant milestone in the company‘s ongoing mission to create a safer and more sustainable future.
The installation of its AdvancedLive system at Blists Hill Victorian Town earned the company the Fire Safety Project of the Year trophy. Delivered in partnership with Chubb Fire and Security, the project showcases how cutting-edge technology can be tailored to meet the challenges of an historically sensitive and multi-structure site.
Wireless connectivity, intuitive controls and a bespoke visual interface have helped to modernise fire safety across the landmark site without compromising its heritage.
Connected fire system management
In parallel, the Judging Panel commended the innovation behind Advanced’s next generation MxPro 5 fire panel, which played a key role in earning recognition in the Fire Safety Manufacturer of the Year category.
Featuring a faster processor, improved configuration speeds and seamless integration with AdvancedLive, the panel highlights the company’s commitment to smarter and more connected fire system management.
Combined with continued investment in product development and responsiveness to market needs, these advancements helped to distinguish Advanced in what’s always a highly competitive category.
Incredible achievement
Commenting on the awards, Advanced’s managing director Antonio Telesca said: To be recognised at this year’s Fire and Security Matters Awards is an incredible achievement and a reflection of the hard work, talent and passion of our entire team. These awards celebrate every department across the business, from R&D and customer support to sustainability and project delivery. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our customers and partners for their continued trust and support.”
The 2025 Fire and Security Matters Awards brought together over 800 fire and security sector professionals to celebrate innovation and achievement. Representing Advanced were Salvy Vittozzi, Phil Calvey, Paul Duffy, Rachael Houghton, Mark Ramshaw, Paul Taylor, Conor MacLeod and Sarah Yule.
