New NEXUS Wireless Alert System from Luminite - battery powered alerts for evacuation or lockdown

LUMINITE ELECTRONICS are pleased to announce the addition of a range of wireless internal and external call points with sounders and beacons which can be rapidly deployed on construction sites and schools to provide a robust alarm system.
The NEXUS units are battery powered and have a long and robust transmission range of 1km between units. The systems are portable and quick and easy to install with no civil works or cabling required. Internal and external units are available in a choice of colours.
The NEXUS Fire Alert system is aimed at construction sites to give a robust warning to fire, suspected terrorist attack or any other alert event involving evacuation. When one NEXUS unit is activated it will trigger all units in range to sound an audible evacuation alert as well as a visual beacon using a proven secure mesh protocol.
The NEXUS Lockdown system is aimed primarily at schools and colleges and works in a similar way to the Fire Alert but when activated will sound a LOCKDOWN message and visual beacon. This message can be customised prior to ordering otherwise the standard message will be supplied.
