Teal Products launches BG2-PRO tamper-proof Call Point

The BG2-PRO features a manual switch for opening, closing and resetting smoke vents. Standard Call Points can be operated by anyone. On the BG2-PRO, the open command can only be triggered with an RFID activation fob. As such, only authorised individuals can operate the smoke ventilation system.

The new solution also harbours inputs for a smoke sensor and a comfort switch so that the same vents can be used for everyday natural ventilation. Importantly, the BG2-PRO also plays host to a built-in temperature sensor.

Key features include tamper-proof RFID activation, three-wire connection, LED indication, alarm input, comfort input and a built-in temperature sensor.

“Any Call Point is there for the people who need it,” explained Ben Yiend, director at Teal Products. “The BG2-PRO makes sure they’re the only ones who can use it.”
