Fire protection systems from Eaton showcased at The Fire Safety Event

19 February 2023

EATON BRINGS decades of expertise to the development of fire alarm systems having been founded upon a strong heritage of Cooper, Menvier, JSB, Nugelec and Fulleon devices. The company will be exhibiting its latest products – among them the xDetect fire control panel – on Stand 3a/F10 at The Fire Safety Event 2023, which runs from 25-27 April at the NEC in Birmingham.

Working closely with industry organisations and customers to meet the highest standards, Eaton has amassed a global reputation for its fire safety products, which can be found in locations including stadiums, high-rise offices, Government buildings, transport hubs, hospitals, retirement homes, industrial facilities and retail/leisure complexes.

When it comes to protecting life and property, there’s no room for compromise. With that in mind, Eaton manufactures a comprehensive range of addressable and conventional fire alarm systems that are compliant, efficient, user-friendly and configurable for specific application needs.

As stated, Eaton will be showcasing a wide range of new products. In addition to xDetect (the new cyber-secure addressable fire system), also on display will be the Dualguard central battery systems, adaptive emergency lighting, Scantronic Secure Radio and SecureConnect.

xDetect simplifies the control of fire alarms and other peripherals in commercial buildings, thereby enabling a faster response in the event of a fire episode or other form of emergency.

xDetect boasts increased loop power compared to its predecessor, meaning that a single loop can handle more current-hungry devices, in turn reducing cabling costs and installation time.

Further, the xDetect system is networkable and can be connected in a ring design network such that the system continues to work even if a panel short-circuits. This makes the use of a redundant network unnecessary and minimises cabling and associated costs still further.
